two wmp installs?

You may not be able to run two versions of WMP, but you can install a different media player. Here are a few options if you're interested.

VLC media player - Open Source Multimedia Framework and Player
One of the most popular video players out there. Will play almost any video format without the need to install codecs.

MPlayer - The Movie Player
Alternative to VLC.

Media Player Classic - Home Cinema - Video Player
This is not related to WMP. It's based on the original MPC that isn't developed anymore.

thanks guys , i wanted to stick with wmp as i like the album art side of things although ive been having issues with wmp12 after clean install of win7.
i do use another player and that is xion i use it for giant playlists it can create a playlist from a directory and has nice skins available on wincustomise ,boxxi being the best skinner IMO
