lol 103 you probably win.
I'm typically in the 70-90 range depending on content. When I was being taught to type properly they always said I kept my fingers too high off the keyboard to ever get any faster than I am. ...probably true.
Was tempted to go again because of errors, but it's 1:30 am here, all considered I guess I did average.

I always have my eyes on screen - never on keyboard while typing.

How do I do that?
I practice my typing and Spend more time on computer (average - 10 hours per day).

That's pretty much a requirement to get anything over 40-50 wpm.
My fingers automatically find the little marker bumps on the j an f keys. So I don't look at the keyboard myself.

That is amazing, I have never been able to adjust to my laptop's keyboard properly.
Probably doesn't help that I generally only use it in bed too.

Had that at a office I worked at a bit back, could never get it to work just right.
It was still really helpful for the boss who had zero typing ability though.

I remember a day, when I could push 25-30 wpm. These days 7's speech engine is my friend.

I'm not even going to try....last time I took any kind of a typing test I came in at a "blazing" speed of 26 WPM.

On thing I've found interesting though, I've known a lot of programmers/program writers, and most of them have never learned to type. One of my teachers was a veteran programmer since the 70's, and he never learned to type.

I know, I really should learn....one of these days.....
