Sometimes when UAC pops up my screen resolution changes from the native 1680x1050 resolution to 1024x768. There doesn't seem to be any reason for the change. Is anybody else having this problem or is it just me?

That's a pretty weird thing going on with your UAC.
Please check Event viewer after the UAC prompt when it changes resolution.
It might shed some light as to what is going on behind there.
My first guess would be video corruption caused by video drivers, please check if you do have the latest drivers from NVidia site, I believe, they just released a new driver
Maybe set the UAC control down one level from default where it doesn't dim the screen and see if it still happens. Isn't a fix but just something to see if it still happens. View attachment 4147
