I posted this yesterday but it has disappeared - I am therefore posting it again.
I'm running Acronis 2020 on my computers. On one computer the UAC symbol is now overlaying the Acronis shortcut icon. I don't recall it being that way until recently. The UAC setting is at the second bar. I'm attaching screenshots of both. Why did this happen and how do I correct it?
Oddly - on the second computer it is not overlaying the Acronis icon. The UAC setting on that computer is at lowest bar.

I had this same thing happen to an icon in Windows 7 Starter. I always completely turn off UAC anyway so it should not have shown up. But UAC could have been on at the time I installed this program so now I'm stuck with that stupid UAC icon. I looked to see if a hidden db file was the source of this icon on my computer and I could only open one of those db files using DB Browser SQLite. Those files look more related to what the program I have does.

There's probably something else here that causes that icon to show up, and I'd have to do more research to know why. I think the biggest factor would be if the program was installed under the programs folder. x86 or otherwise. I know those program folders are like in a protected state.

Thanks F22 Simpilot. I've turned off UAC so it won't happen to any future program I install.
