UI Bugs

So, I found some bugs in the UI. Now where do I report them?? Tried emailing the Windows 7 Blog, but got no response.

1. No focused application on the taskbar, but active in the titlebar
So you have an open window (any window, like explorer or application). Now you right click on its taskbar item, to get jumplist from this window. Don't choose any option in it, but click anywhere in this window's area.

Result is, the jumplist closes, at the titlebar you see this window as the one in focus, but on the taskbar it isn't in focus. So it is, or isn't in focus??

2. Certain UI elements steal focus of the window, like they're the other window, but they aren't.
Two easiest examples of this bug are in the window where you choose resolution, and in Windows Media Player.

Resolution window: Click on the button to get the slider for choosing resolution, now notice that the resolution window on the titlebar loses focus, but it still shows as active window on the taskbar. Strange that the button that let's you choose on which screen to display desktop doesn't do that, only the resolution chooser.

Windows Media Player: Clicking on any part of the UI, like seeker (in playing mode) causes the Windows Media Player to lose focus in the titlebar, but it remains focus in the taskbar.

3. Taskbar item remains highlighted after mouse is moved away
This bug happens after you use any button in the thumbnail of a program (the red x to close also counts). Easiest way to show it is in Windows Media Player because it has buttons in thumbnail other then close.

Windows Media Player: Play any movie or music. Move your mouse on the taskbar item of Windows Media Player to get its thumbnail. Press the pause/play button, and move your mouse away from the thumbnail.
Result is the thumbnail closes, and the Windows Media Player's taskbar item remains highlighted as if the mouse was still on it. It even shows the popup of what's playing.

Two explorer windows: Open two explorer windows. Now hover over their's item in taskbar. You get two thumbnails, close one of them using the red x in the thumbnail, and move your mouse away.
Result is one window closes, but other's one item in the taskbar remains highlighted as if the mouse was over it. This also shows the popup.

Hi! Glad that you want to Report Bugs and Help Microsoft out, but you should've checked if these are bugs (they happen on someone else's PC or are they part of windows was designed (or a problem with your computer).

1. Can't get that to happen.
2. Not Sure (Report it anyway)
3. Can't get that to happen.

They happen on two of my PC's.

Also, are you sure you're doing the steps I am?? Maybe I explained them badly.

Check with videos:
1: Download 1.avi from Sendspace.com - send big files the easy way
In this video I open the Computer window, right click on its taskbar item to get the jumplist. Then I click in Computer's window area. Notice that on the titlebar the window it active (the X is red), but on the taskbar there is no grey color over its item, indicating that its inactive.

2: Download 2.avi from Sendspace.com - send big files the easy way
In this video I open the window to select resolution. Now notice that as soon I open the slider to select resolution, the window in the titlebar appears inactive (the X isn't red), but in the taskbar it looks like active window (there is grey color over it).

3: Download 3.avi from Sendspace.com - send big files the easy way
In this video I open the Windows Media Player, and play the example music from music folder. Notice that when I press the play/pause button in the thumbnail, and move the mouse away, the item of Windows Media Player in the taskbar stays highlighted, and you can see popup appearing showing what is played. This shouldn't happen unless my mouse would be over it.

From watching the first video...your AERO is extremley laggy...I would reccomend updating your graphics drivers and see if the bugs cease

It only appears like that in the video.
And I checked, these bugs appear also with aero turned off.
