Hi windows 7 community,
I have a problem with windows 7 since the first day i've installed the OS (couple of years), and i haven't been able to solve it yet. The problem is that when i have a main application window, and different documents(windows) open in that main application window, when i minimize those child windows, they appear abnormally small, like the screenshot bellow. normally it should display minimize/maximize/restore buttons, but it only displays a small close button :(
The problem occurs with all applications that allow child windows. Does anyone else have this problem? How can i solve this issue?

I've tried the basic theme too, hoping it would solve the problem, but didn't help, still i don't have the buttons completely:

Hi and welcome to the Forum
If you have had this problem since you installed Windows 7 then it suggests you have some corrupt files in your Windows 7 Ultimate Disc. Where did you obtain the disc?

Mitchell65, Thanks for your reply.
It cant be a problem with Windows 7 itself, because when i log off my user account and and log back with administrator account, i don't have the issue. it must be something wrong with my user account. how can fix this issue my user account? if i want to migrate to a new user account, i have to take all my settings from lots of different applications plus data in my documents, pictures, etc. it would take a complete day :(
I'm not completely sure if it happened from the begginig. but it's been there for a very long time. Now that I'm thinking, i had installed some mac themes, which required tweaking and replacing some Windows files, but after i uninstalled them, i think i replaced the original windows files as i remember. i know i did sth stupid, but now how can i fix this?

As you can't remeber what you have done with your "tweaking" it's difficult to advise you, if not impossible. I assume you didn't make any backups of your system? I would say start a new user account. I know it will take some time but I can't think of an alternative.
BTW you didn't say where your Windows Disc came from. You say it can't be a Windows problem but i think it is!
