Ultimate/Entrp.: Subsystem for UNIX-based Applications

I'm debating on whether to get the Professional or Ultimate/Enterprise edition of Windows 7.

I really want the remote-desktop host functionality (not just client), and is the primary reason for wanting professional over Home Premium. Although the other features in professional might be useful, including "Presentation Mode" and file system encryption. I could case less about joining a Windows domain since this will be a home PC, nor do I care about "XP Mode" because it's virtualization/emulation, not built-into the kernel.

But one thing about Ultimate really peaks my interest: Subsystem for UNIX-based Applications (SUA), or rather a Microsoft-supported solution to compiling and running Linux/BSD software, or for that matter any software for a UNIX/POSIX O/S.

Also, I assume that SUA is Microsoft's newest version of their old Interix "environment system"?...

The question is, would this be worth an extra $20 to get Ultimate? There's not much price difference here. But what does this SUA give me over Cygwin? I haven't used either, and my experience with Cygwin has been disappointing.

Does anyone know more about SUA?
