The UN??? Since when does the UN have any say over taxes anywhere??? As far as Im concerned, they can wish in one hand and spit in the other and see which one fills up first!! :mad2:

But say if we uh, tax for 0.1 of a Euro or something, the massed collection of this would be alot better than nothing but still next to nothing.

Most of our countries already give billions (that they don't have) in foreign aid, why should we give anymore!

I know every time our glorious dictator leader Chairman Brown opens his mouth, he is giving away money he has borrowed (that I have to pay back) to 3rd world causes.

If we want to donate, it should be via the charity of our choice and not taxation.

i will be 62 yrs young this year, for as long as i can remember we ( the UK) have been "donating" vast amounts of monetary aid to the third world countries to aid famines,floods,eq's etc and for what ? to supply arms for rebel causes! while the poor children suffer with little or no education , hardly any food or clothes what a life they have !
