Unable to Access Gmail-Google Chrome

We have been w/o DSL since Sept. Last week I purchased an AT&T wireless router. My computer, cell Android and S.O. 's iphone all connect. The problem is her Dell running Win 7 Home. The Icon in the lower left and network sharing center connect to the "Bench" and also to the "Globe" The Globe is green. Even so, no gmail, Chrome, FB, Google etc. This occurs either when the router is connected via WiFi or USB. I thought her anti-virus (Avast Freeware) was causing the problem, we uninstalled it to no avail

This time it would not connect via WiFi, but USB was fine. Therefore I didn't record Wifi or Bluetooth
