Unable to activate and detect wireless on acer laptop

Hi,

Im facing some wireless network problem. Sometimes I can connect without any problem but lately, it hasnt been working

1) Unable to switch on the wireless by pressing the button on the left side of keyboard
2) There should be a 'wireless...' at the network sharing center
3) There should be a 'intel...' driver at device manager

I have attached a picture to better explain what i meant above.

Would appreciate any help!

Hi Welcome to Seven Forums .. Have you tried draining the Power .. Remove the battery and unplug the Laptop hold down the Power button for five seconds .. If that does not work resetting the BIOS might work ... It is also possible that the Card had died ...

and flushing and resetting the DNS : DNS Resolver Cache - Flush and Reset in Windows

Hi, thank you. Right now, my wireless is working, but sometimes it just doesnt work and sometimes it will just get disabled out of a sudden. Speaking of battery, when my battery is charging/or not charging, it kept saying 'consider replacing your battery' with a red cross at the battery icon.

How do i reset the BIOS? Im guessing its the card problem.

Hi, i have already flushed and resettled the DNS. Attached the results, seems to be fine.

You need to replace your Battery .. I would leave the Bios alone it is unlikely to help any .. Reboot your Laptop and do another System Scan and Post the Results please ...

If the battery issue is resolved and still having Wi-Fi problems consider disabling the Wireless in the BIOS then adding one of the USB Wireless adapters. I replaced the Wireless in my Dell Latitude D810 and it still gave problems so I got an AirLink 'nano' adapter and have had no problems since, not expensive.

Hi, I rescan for multiple times already. It is still giving the same log. Im not using any antivirus, but i think its symantec by default.

Sometimes there is wireless but sometimes the wireless just couldnt be switch on. Sometimes when i switched on the laptop, there is wireless for awhile but afterwards, the wireless just disconnect by itself and the adapter/any wireless connections couldnt be detected.

Also, the laptop did shut down couple times by itself out of a sudden

You are leaving your Computer open to Infection by not having any Security in place .. Choose an Antivirus of your choice and do a full Scan .. You should also Download Malwarebytes and Scan .. Also i would run AdwCleaner .. Please Post back the Results of the Scans ...
