I have an older PC with 2 OS SSD's and 2 storage HDD's. One SSD has 7 home, the other 7 pro, both 64 bit. Both had been running fine until I inadvertently depowered the PC while the pro install was "updating". Now, when I try to boot to the pro install, I just get a black screen with the cursor pulsing in the upper left of the screen. Tried booting from the pro install disk to do a startup repair, but the process does not recognize/show the pro installation. Tells me "if os is not listed, try installing disk driver", or words to that effect. No idea what they mean by the "disk driver", don't recall ever having to install a "driver" for an SSD/HDD. I can view all the files on the pro ssd when I'm running the home install, and can even run some of the programs from that drive in home. I really do not want to have to wipe the pro drive & do a complete re-install. Any suggestions on getting the pro install up & running again?

Thanks!

Try this:
Boot from Win 7 Home, open Explorer and find out witch letter is assigned to the Win 7 Pro partition.

Do a system file check.
Open a CMD window as administrator and type:
sfc /offwindir=X:\Windows (replace X with the appropriate letter)
