I have been using Outlook 2003. I want to use WLM in Win 8. I also have a copy of WLM installed on Win 7, although I haven't been using it - just there in case I get a call from a client about it.
I created an e-mail account in my Windows 7 WLM for my POP (ISP) e-mail account (the only account).
I exported my Outlook 2003 contacts to a CSV (comma separated DOS) file. I start WLM in Win 7 (or Win 8 they both work identical) and select contacts and then "Import" Comma Separated Values CSV and select the CSV file created with Outlook 2003. WLM goes through the motions like its importing but when its finished there are no contacts imported.
In Outlook 2003, I have "Contacts" and also a sub contacts folder for a club e-mail list. I only want my regular Contacts, not the club e-mail list. However, if I select "Address book for current user" in WLM it will import the club e-mail list only.
I've been over google searches and this forum's tutorials and searches and didn't come up with anything I haven't done or tried.
