ellow all,

I'm trying to install a windows 7 home premium on a laptop but it wont let me.

when i put the CD in and boot from CD everything goes well it loads his files and i can select the language settings, than i click to install and i need to choose between upgrade and clean install, if i choose clean install the click to install window appears again, i can do this all day cause it keeps looping the same process.

i tried to install vista as well but same results than i thought lets install windows xp to do a upgrade install but installing xp wasn't successful either.

any ideas questions or you missing some info let me know =D

Where did you get Win7? If you burned the DVD, confirm the ISO integrity and burn another using ImgBurn at 4x speed with Verify. Next try writing ISO to flash stick using this tool with Win7 in dropdown: Universal USB Installer – Easy as 1 2 3

If it's retail Win7, try writing DVD to flash stick using UltraISO: on File tab select Open DVD, on Bootable tab select Write Disk Image, Format, Write. Boot under USB or HD's.

Is there a newer BIOS update on computer or mobo Support Downloads webpage? If not, Clear the CMOS:
Clear CMOS - 3 Ways to Clear the CMOS - Reset BIOS
While in BIOS setup check SATA controller setting. Set to AHCI to try install first, then IDE if necessary.

Test the HD using maker's diag/repair extended CD scan: HD Diagnostic. Use same CD to wipe the HD.

Create and format a partition using Diskpart or bootable partition manager, then mark it Active to try install.

Test your RAM: RAM - Test with Memtest86+

Hi Masofdisas,

I just have one question here. Apart from the above instructions, Just I want to make sure, if the loop appears once after clicking the "New copy windows installation" option 'or' after the 'Copying files' process in Windows 7?

In the absence of any other solution it seems you've either got a bad Windows DVD or a problem with the hard drive.

The good people who have replied to you so far have vast experience with problems of this sort and have helped many people to resolve them.

I think you'll find that "not standard solutions" are a no-go on these forums.

You can start back at the first step I gave you and work through each of them, report back results or ask any questions.

There are no shortcuts or magic hardware "tests" with a special card. You must work through the steps one-by-one, then we will give you more steps if necessary until it gets installed. We have a 100% success rate helping with thousands of install failures, but only if the OP is cooperative and willing to do the work.

Where did you get Win7? How do you plan to activate it?

dear peeps, never mind i tested the laptop with my magic card that doesn't excist acording to gregrocker.
i am head of the technical department of our company and all our company does is repair computers so i thank everyone who tried to help but im not going to try things like using a USB installer cause no CD works no matter what os or type of disc even using a external DVD player or changing the dvd drive doesn't make any difference.

so USB is not going to make any difference (think about it) , clearing my CMOS off course i did that with no results.
testing my ram testing my HDD, all those options make no sense with my problem (also my magic card told me it all good) and if you disagree than im sorry :)

and i got my windows 7 from our distributor and activating hmmm lets see or i use windows loader or i use a key.......

We only offer the troubleshooting steps tailored to your situation which have worked best in thousands of installation failures which we have helped successfully troubleshoot here.

USB is offered as an installation alternative because it works in about half of the cases where installer is suspect, so yes we did think about it.

If you are the head of the technical dept of your company and are using a windows loader as you say then your company is at great risk of lawsuit and prosecution since piracy by businesses is almost always pursued, especially when bragged about it in the top tech forum on the web.

also my magic card told me it all good Where can I buy one of those magic cards?
