It`s been long enough ;)

And contrary to what everyone is asking and what everyone is saying, there is no reason you can`t install and run Windows 7.

You are having some other problem, like your dvd drive.

Troubleshoot the problem, 1 step at a time.

Don`t you have any people around you that know anything about computers ????

And as far as the Bios goes, if you`re running XP then the bios should not have to be touched.

But 1 thing you can do, if you want, is set the Bios to defaults. Just enter the bios when you first turn on the computer, once you are in the bios hit F5 to load defaults, then hit F10 to save and exit.

Everything is written across the top of the bios, take your time and just read.
