Im having trouble logging into a Samsung N145 notebook that was given to me. it was supposed to be unused but when i turned the power on it asked me for a username and password. I have tried logging in as "Administrator" with no password. I have also tried booting in safe mode but it just returns me to the log in screen. I have spent hours looking for a solution but the only one i have found is to use the recovery disc that came with it, unfortunately the Samsung doenst have a cd drive.

If anyone can please shed light on the problem i am facing i would be most grateful

What usernames do you see at logon screen? You don't know what's on (maybe many viruses), and you dont need all the documents/applications of the previous user. Why not install from scratch? Do you have a COA sticker on notebook with product key?

Is it win7 home premium of professional or ultimate? See the sticker for that info

Seems like a messed up system. Do a clean install before you start using the machine as suggested by AddRAM.

You can also "hack" into the admin account but clean installation will be much easier.
