Unable to manually install Office 2010 SP2 (kb2687455)

Hi,

I have 4 laptops here where I am unable to manually install Office 2010 SP2 (kb2687455). I have been successful installing it on about 25 other laptops. I have tried doing an Office repair, an Office uninstall/reinstall, ran Windows Repair tool, looked into something regarding the MSOcache folder but no luck with anything. I have attached a screenshot. If anyone has any thoughts/suggestions, they would be greatly appreciated.

Do the computers you are having trouble with, have Office 2010 Service Pack 1 installed. If Service Pack 1 is not installed you cannot install Service Pack 2.

The SP2 you are trying to install is for 32 bits. Is the installed Office10 32 or 64 bits?

Try this, Run msconfig/Services/disable all.
Reboot and try to reinstall.
reset msconfig to normal boot after.

Go to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Programs and Features and on the Office 10 - Change - Repair and then try to Install SP2.

If it doesn't work, uninstall and reinstall.

MeOnMine - I tried that but no luck
Torchwood - I checked with the IT manager and we haven't reached our license limit
Megahertz07 - I tried that as well but it didn't work

I am hoping to find a resolution so I don't have to reimage 4 laptops. If anyone has anymore thoughts/suggestions, they are much appreciated. Thank you guys for trying to help me with this issue.

I've seen this same thing on a Office with a language pack.
It seems a little drastic, but uninstall Office, reboot and install it again. Then apply SP1 and then SP2.
