unable to play cod wow xp pc game on gway dx4300

Hey all,

I did not know where to put this exactly. I have a gateway dx 4300 15e and many xp pc games wont play on it. specifically halflife battlefield 1942 and call of duty world at war, I get sound and a black screen. now this pc is a few years old but I take care of it, I am an artist and it runs all of my 3d engines[3dsmax, bryce and most others, photoshop all of this is graphic intensive, but no prob. I have benchmarked this with the new 3dmark games database, the can you run this online profile gaming checker and I have an amd ati radeon program for benchmarking and overclocking, I realize this is a 3200 intergrated but it is more then enough for most all xp games.
