hay guys. im at my wits end with this now. so im asking for help.

I have a pocket pc, that syncs with my vista system without problem.

however i cant get it to sync to my 7 system.

It reconizes the device and installs the drivers, but thats it, MDC will not sync with it, nor does it give me the storage device under my computer.

i have tried everything from uninstalling MDC, running the upgrade, reinstalling drivers, unchecking the settings within the device, and anything i could find online about the issue, yet still nothing will work.

Can someone please help me!

i believe it has to do with the install possibly, and somthing went wrong, becuase none of my pocket pcs will sync to this OS, and they work fine on other vista/7 systems. is there a way to reinstall/fix that part of the installation? or do i need to format and redo? i thought that maybe one of the updates would fix the problem, but after all the updates iv done in the last couple months, still nothing has changed it.

PLEASE HELP, im really frustrated!

Thanks in advance.

Check disk management to see if it needs a drive letter assigned. If it does, you know what to do.

I uninstalled Microsoft Windows Mobile Remote from the Device Manager and plugged the phone back in. After Windows reinstalled the driver (which took several minutes) the phone came back up in the sync center.
