Hi all,

I have a particularly annoying problem that I was hoping someone could shed some light on?

I have a Windows 7 Dell E6400 laptop on a corporate domain. One of the user accounts (with local admin rights) will be able to access and use all of the troubleshooting tools on the first login when the profile is inititally created. However on the 2nd login he receives the unable to use troubleshooting error 0x80091007. Some troubleshooters work but the majority do not.

There are other accounts with local admin rights that do not have any problems whatsoever and he is the only one experiencing this issue. I'm assuming its down to a group policy coming in from somewhere or something else relating to his profile but hoping someone may be able to shed some more light?

Thanks in advance

Thanks for the replies I've gone through both sets of possible answers and unfortunately I am still experiencing a problem.

I am now receiving a new error message of:

An error occurred while troubleshooting:

An unexpected error occurred. The troubleshooting wizard can't continue.

Package ID: Unknown
Path: Unknown
Error Code: 0x80070005
Source: Temporary Files
User: Domain\username
Context: Restricted

The user is a local admin and the inbuilt admin account is active.

Any ideas?

Thanks
