Unable to update - sfc couldn't fix problems - big5.nlp, xjis.nlp, prc

Mornnig Noel,

I managed to get a hold of a copy of windows 7 Home Premium.
I performed an upgrade (the new user profile didnt work). of Windows 7, upon completion, I got a message stating that .NET 4.5 was in need of repair... after a few moments, I presume it repaired it as my Kaspersky firewall was working again.

It now shows .NET 4.5.2 as being installed in the programs list.

Now, the upgrade removed all the updates as you may be aware, however there are 180 updates to do.

I noticed that I have over a dozen .net framework files to update for 3.5.1 (is it necessary?) I also have one file to update going back as far as 2011 (a .net one)...

should I install all these .net framework files?

and if so, should I batch them up into years , ie, update/install all 2011 first, then 2012, then 2013, then 2014, then all the current year's files as well in order?

Kind regards

Linda
