Hi, every time I connect the cable from new Sony voice recorder ICD-AX 412 to the USB port to upload an audio file, it keeps on displaying "Connecting" but nothing happens ?
Finally discovered it opened an icon on "Computer" to upload into which isn't there normally.
Great piece of equipment however a steep learning curve. Nevertheless as an author of fiction stories it's just perfect for re-playing voice recordings straight back into laptop microphone, by placing it underneath, without losing the all important train of thought for Dragon to then transcribe it immediately into Word with very few mistakes as you watch. Most of all you can click on Pause when needing to stop and think, rather than having to keep on switching Dragon on and off to correct typos and swearing then forgetting the plot !
Highy recommended for non-authors as well as it's always ready when driving rather than having to stop and scribble furiously !....
