Good afternoon everyone. Could you please tell me why can't I view the captured screenshots BMP size in Mission Against Terror 2 (online game) folder? It said that 'Windows Photo Viewer can't open this picture because either Photo Viewer doesn't support the file format, or you don't have the latest updates to Photo Viewer'. The same problem also occured after I switch to Photo Gallery. I had also used countless of software to view the screenshots but sadly it still persists. Those software have the latest version. Besides that, I used to try fixing the screenshots at https://online.officerecovery.com/pixrecovery/ but the screenshots quality are worse, black and white colour only. A few years ago, I was never facing this problem. For your information, I'm practiced using Advanced Systemcare Ultimate and Smart Defrag to cleanup my PC and arrange scattered files in hard disk. Yesterday I was using System Restore but the problem also still persists. Take all your time needed to help me. :)

I use Windows Snipping Tool nearly every day. It appears on the Desktop as a jpg file. If I d. click the image it opens in Picasa, or if I s. click on it and choose Preview it again opens in Picasa. If otherwise I choose Open With I can choose from several graphic programs such as Photoshop, Windows Photoviewer, Paint etc. (InDesign requires the snapshot to be dragged on to an InDesign open window and using the Place command.) It can also be dragged on to an open Word file. The resulting file is as sharp etc. as it was on the Desktop. Snapshot allows you to capture an arbitrary rectangle, or arbitrary shape, or an open window.

Why use BMP? (Perhaps your game requires it.)

The 256 GB SSD (C:) also has Adobe Photoshop CS6 and InDesign CS6, MS Office, Adobe Lightroom, and other small programs.
Suggest you try this. Take a snapdhot of any part of your screen with the Snipping Tool. Click File > Save As and save your file as "Capture.png" to the desktop. Then right click on that file on your desktop and choose Open with in the windows that opens and then choose "Paint"!
See if that orks.

Try this: Go to "Libraries" then "Pictures" then "Sample Pictures" and see if you can view any of the pictures there!
I'm thinking this might be a basic Windows problem. I see you are running Windows Ultimate. Did you PC come pre loaded with Ultimate?
Of course you might have an infection. I see you are running AVG Free edition. I would uninstall that and download and instal MS security Essentials from here and run that.

I'm able to view sample pictures. And my latest Windows version is Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit with 360 Internet Security 2015. I had downgraded the Windows version due to unable to boot issue in 2014. Speaking of my main issue of this thread, what exactly causing this problem? Here is my other evidences of using FreeEditor software but the main issue still persists.

Your screenshot does NOT show Irfanview. It appears to be "Free Editor"
Can you view the screenshot you posted above in one of your viewers? Can you put a jpg or png file that you cannot open on Dropbox or similar and post the share link here. That way we can see if the file is corrupt.
BTW does this problem go back to when you downgraded your Windows 7 version? Where did your Windows 7 install disc come from?

Hi,
Screen shots in games usually need to be enabled in the game settings bmp is not the best format it is a huge file to begin with jpeg would be more common format so review the games options.

It's a bit of a waste of time as the links are all to the OP's BMP files but you need to edit the links as follows.
Copy and paste one of the links in your address bar. Delete the "X's". Delete the "?" after html. Then type this in place of the "X's" type "4 shared . com without the quotes and without the spaces between 4 and shared and shared and the dot and between the dot and com. . The Forum stops me from displaying this site as a link, I just get a line of *'s in the address.. If I try to put that link on this post I get:
http://www.************/photo/h5UQxREDce/MAT00026.html
When you get the link to work you get "Preview not yet ready"
Have just learnt that the 4shared site is flagged as carrying malware and or porn images. Proceed with great care!
Unless the OP answers my earlier questions I can't help him further!

This issue didn't happen after I downgraded the OS from Windows 7 Ultimate to Windows 7 Home Premium which is installed in 2014. Instead, I faced this issue since a few months ago. Anyway, I got the installation disc from Acer.
