Don't know if I am in the right place but....
I do a fair bit of "rejuvenating" and often revitalise old XP machines for folks, and really more hardware orientated than understanding the "intricacies" that everyone else seems to find so easy.
I get really bogged down with certain BIOS settings - especially some of the terms used in the different sections for setting hardware. Date, time, boot device, etc no problems but things like setting the CPU frequency and DRAM / CPU ratios - bit of a mystery.
Now Googling every single setting takes an awful lot of time and I was wondering can someone point an old no brainer in the right direction of a good site for general points involving BIOS settings please?
