I have a Dell Studio XPS 8100 that is little more than two months old. So far, it's run well with the exception of a few ATI driver-related crashes that have cropped up at random intervals (attributed to atikmdag.sys). I've since updated the drivers to the latest version, so I believe those crashes should have been taken care of; however, just two days ago, I began getting unexpected kernel trap BSODs that I don't recall having before. I've already gotten 3 BSODs in just over 24 hours, twice when I was away from the computer, once when I was in the middle of doing some digital painting (luckily I hadn't made any major changes to my work, so nothing was really lost). I've used BlueScreenView to check what the possible cause may be, but it only seems to point to ntoskrnl.exe, which I don't think is the real culprit. I also ran Memtest86+ overnight and it turned up no errors after 6 passes.
Right now, the computer appears stable, but I'm concerned that I might get another BSOD at any moment, since the crashes are hard to predict and I haven't been able to narrow down what the cause may be. I haven't made any changes to hardware since purchasing the PC, and the last software change I recall making was updating iTunes on the same day the crashes began... although again I'm not entirely sure or convinced that it's behind the problem.
I've attached a zip of the minidumps and my dxdiag info, and hope that someone may be able to analyze them for me. Any help would be appreciated. I'd really like to get back to working on this computer again without having to worry that something might go wrong. Thanks in advance for your help.
