Unexpectedly Lost Connection

Virtually every time I open Windows Live Mail I get an error message saying that the connection to the server has unexpectedly been lost due to timeout, etc. I have an AOL mail address and have no problems with my Mac, or my iPhone, only Windows Live Mail. Any thoughts?

In re-reading my post, I did not make the problem completely clear. I do get my messages, but I still get the error message every time--seemingly a meaningless message. So, regarding settings, they are correct for receiving and sending mail. If there is some setting that is causing this problem, I would not know what it is.
