uninstall failed Nreo7

Tried to install my Nreo 7 and it quit 3/4 the way thru yet it shows up in my uninstall programs. When I tyr to uninstall it I get and error message failed Dll. A little help please. Thanks

I think that nero 7 is not suported, only nero 8 and nero 9...
Try one of these or try ImgBurn...

I understand that but my question is how can I uninstall the portion of nero 7 that was installed. in uninstall/ change programs. it shows up but the uninstall fails with an error message:[ internal error Custom Action DLL crashed on last call in function NeroAG_UnregisterComEx'. The installer must now exi. t Crash threadID 2244 current thread ID 3600] This is why I'm asking if their is anpther way to remove it from my system.

Nero 7 does work on Windows 7 RTM, I installed it the other day

Have you tried re-installing Nero then uninstalling again to see if the install gets to 100%?

   Note

You may need to run the installer with Compatability for Vista but you shouldn't really have to

The best thing if that fails is to run regedit by typing it into the start menu and search the registry for ALL entries pertaining to Nero.

   Warning

Don't just delete everything, there are some other entries that have nero within the title so read everything before deleting

Then, do an explorer search for nero & delete the folders relating to 'Ahead' or 'Nero'.

I used the tool today even without any installed nero products it still cleaned the registry (but not all the file associations)

You can try Revo Uninstaller it removes any program from your registry .
