Uninstall IE

Its not as simple, after a botched IE update I am unable to uninstall or disable IE. I don't want to use IE! I need it to be able to use Skype, I have tried Unlocker so I could possibly manually uninstall it, if there is a repair option in the IE installer then the installed version is so screwed that it says that the install is also okay, when of course it isn't. If you guys have any ideas on what could be the issue that would be appreciated.

Hi there
update to the latest version of IE again - then roll it back if you don't want or need the latest version.

Once you've got a decent version installed it should be possible to uninstall it simply in the control panel.

And how would I go about updating? Downloading the installer tells me I am running a version that is newer

install Revo S/W unstall fist and restart pc and install new version IE
