Solved Uninstalled and downloads not working

I have an Asus running Windows 7 my son was using it to play many downloaded games which caused the computer to be nonfunctional and lock up. I booted it in safe mode uninstalled numerous games from different vendors until I got the message uninstalled quit working. I have been able to reboot the computer in normal mode and it runs already installed software like word and excel fine. However the uninstaller does not work. I have tried downloading and running various registry cleaners like ccleaner however they will not run. I tried running restorer and that also does not function. Any suggestions?

Hi Straxler,
sounds like a virus, has MacAfee reported anything, check logs see if anything has been "allowed".

Can you run Malwarebytes free, (uncheck trial/Enable rootkit detection in dashboard settings)
Then try
ESET on-line, (dissable Macafee)

I just tried mbytes once again I can download it, it appears in all programs but it won't start. Also I discovered that Mcafee won't start either.
