Uninstalling windows 7?

Well on tuesday I receive my SSD (Intel 330 60GB) And I will need to uninstall windows 7 from my current HDD. How do I do that?
Is there a easy way to move over all my files that I want? Or is just manually backing up what I want easier?
Sorry for so many topics. I am pretty confused here.

What specifically are you confused about?

You don't need to uninstall anything if all you want to do is install Windows to the SSD.

Is all of your personal data on the current HDD in the C partition? Or in a separate partition?

If your data is on C on the current drive, you'll obviously have to move it somewhere it you intend to delete C from the old hard drive after you install to the SSD.

If you do a clean install to the SSD, you will have to reinstall all of your programs.

Well I am installing a SSD on tuesday and putting windows 7 on it and I would like to clean out my old HDD and uninstall 7 from it. I am just going to backup all my saves for games and game files and uninstall 7 from my old HDD, Then use the HDD just for steam games and movies and such. But I don't know how..

Yes my personal data is in the C partition on my current HDD. I would like to move that over to my SSD then copy all my music and movies to my HDD, But I need to uninstall 7 from it first. I don't want duplicates of everything on there. And I just want a fresh start on my HDD.
Basically I will just backup all the stuff I want then uninstall windows 7 from my HDD, and start fresh. But how do I do that?

Windows 7 is not "uninstalled". You delete the C partition if you no longer need it. As long as you have data on it, you need it and should not delete it.

I am planning on backing ONLY the stuff I need to a external 1TB HDD. And moving all my personal pictures and thing I really want safe to my SSD. Then install all my games to my HDD. My current partition is pretty big but that's because of all my games, Which I want to reinstall. I just want to get rid of all the stuff in my current HDD after I am done moving everything over that I WANT.

Well, don't worry about uninstalling Windows 7. You should install W7 to your SSD. Install all your games, then move everything else you want on the SSD by copying and pasting.

Install Windows to the SSD. Update Windows, get anti-virus running, confirm that all is running well.

Copy data back from the external to the SSD.

Reconnect HDD. Delete all partitions from it.

Make one new partition on the HDD. Install games to it.

How do I delete the partitions? Will it basically be a new drive like I want?

You delete all partitions in Windows Disk Management.

The drive will then be empty, like when you bought it.

Then create a new partition in Windows Disk Management and format it.

Then install games to it.

What you need to do is delete anything that you do not need from your HDD run a disk defragment program (auslogics free) and a disk cleanup(C -> properties and disk cleanup) and see how much of the volume is in use. Then buy a SSD big enough to fit all the data from the HDD on it. For example after getting rid of junk files you have 80Gb in use buy a 120Gb SSD etc. Then use the free norton cloning software [corsair SSD](or other free cloning software you can find online) which comes with the drive to clone your current hdd on to the SSD. Then all you need to do is swap out the HDD with the SSD and boot up your pc. By using this method you will not have to install anything as your windows 7 os, games and other software will be there waiting for you after the swap out and you will find everything as you left it. You will see a increase in speed across all program's installed on the SSD. You can then format the old HDD and us it as storage.
