Uninstalling Windows Updates

When I recently installed a bunch of windows updates, among them was a driver update for my Wacom Intuos 3 tablet. When I looked at the list of downloaded (but not installed) updates I saw the Wacom one but assumed (I should know better!) that it was a newer one than the April update that I had already installed. Long story short...it was the same update and now my tablet is acting slow, sluggish, hinkey, etc. Still works but its extremely annoying.

So, I went to the Windows Updates in Ctl Panel to uninstall the Wacom update but though it shows up as an installed update it does NOT show when I switch to the uninstall screen???? Anyone got a clue as to why this is? I tried rolling back my Wacom driver but it didn't solve the problem. I know it could be one of the other Win. updates that's causing this (it's happened in the past) but just got stuck on the question of why all the updates don't show up in the uninstall screen? Makes sense to me to try uninstalling the Wacom update first, right? Wrong? Anybody?

Thanks!

Do a system restore from before the updates. Install a few at a time. Never install a large number all at once.

A driver is a special case that is designed to be handled via Device Manager. And it does not come with a normal uninstaller.
