Unknown account

While looking through my comfuser, I found some account named HomeGroupUser$. I'm not sure how it got there, but it has a date of 5/15 & I have not created any new accounts for some time.

As you can see in the attached picture, the account shows-up in the 'Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Advanced User Accounts', in my 'C:\Users' folder but NOT through the 'Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\User Accounts\Manage Accounts'; so I cannot delete it. Anyone know how I can delete this unknown HomeGroupUser$ account?

Also, is the Administrator Account in my 'C:\Users' folder & no where else, Windows own built-in account? I don't recall seeing that one before as well. Both the HomeGroupUser$ & Administrator folders dwindle down to C:\...AppData\Local\Google & that folder is empty.

HomeGroupUser$ is the Built-in account for homegroup access to the computer.

I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to network setup/settings & I don't even know if I created this myself.
Here is my setup at home:
Verizon FiOS Router 9100EM
1 Desktop connected to router via Ethernet cable
1 printer, 2 laptops & 1 iPad Mini all connected to router wirelessly

Also, on the desktop computer, when I navigate to Computer>Network; I can see the desktop, printer & both laptops listed, but not the iPad Mini; is this normal?

Whether you use a homegroup or not the user 'HomeGroupUser$' is a system buil-in account and nothing to worry about.

The homegroup is a way of connecting you computers/laptops together to make it easier to share files.

click on homegroup in the list above network and you will see if it show you have set it up

From these windows, I'm NOT connected to a Home Network? I'm a bit confused. I can get online w/all computers just fine, so what network am I on?

homegroup is a connection between all the computer in you home to share file and what ever ,its not your connection to the internet , you can set up a home group network to share documents, pictures ,music ect ect between each computer ,as long as the computer are all turned on ,like you could access music or a movie thats stored on another computer in the homegroup from your computer

Go to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Network and Sharing Center

See what it shows for your Network, and post a screen print if you have questions.

I just took a look & my active network is set to Public.!
I don't know when/how this happened because every time I setup my computers, I ALWAYS select Home network from the "Select a location for the 'Network' network" selection screen.
Will I have any problems if I change this now?

I changed the Active Network back to Home & all is working just fine. Is there a way to change the Network Name?

When I look at my C:\Users folder; I see Administrator, All Users (Hidden), Co, Cr, Default (Hidden), Default User (Hidden), Guest, HomeGroupUser$ & Public.

1. Is Administrator the Windows Built-In account, because the folder is empty (C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\Google) & Co is the Administrator account I made when 1st installing 7.

2. Can I hide the folders Administrator & HomeGroupUser$?
