I am running hp vista windows 7 64 bit. I had to do a system recovery yesterday because something was stopping my window updates. Okay I did the recovery and the pc seems to be working okay with the exception of..when I go onto the red box ( movie site) I get a box that pops up and says UNKNOWN API ERROR. Can someone tell me what that is and how to fix it? Any chance its a virus. I am running Norton security 2012 and also did a eraser scrub from Norton and nothing was found.

Did you upgrade from Vista 64 to Windows 7 64 bit? What is the 'operating service'? Home Premium, Business, Ultimate, or?

These are two different Windows OS's ---> Vista and Windows 7.

Question is when I go on the Redbox website (for movies) I get the message Unknown API error and when I attempt to sign on to my account it says undefined. I recently did a system recovery and the pc works fine except for that. Does anyone know what is causing it? It doesn't happen on Google Chrome but happens on Firefox 12 and IE
