Hi all,
I started up my PC just now and before booting up properly, there were messages on-screen about something called CHKDSK running, verifying files. It ran through the wholes system, verifying everything, then said it was deleting some index entries and recovering orphaned files. My knowledge of computers is limited to GCSE Computer Science, so I don't know what any of this means, but the PC then started up as normal. Can anyone inform me as to what was happening? I have attached some photos if it helps.
