Unlisted Audio Inputs

I currently have a P5N32-SLI SE Deluxe motherboard, all of my drivers are updated, and I reinstalled the drivers for realtek. 100% sure they're the correct drivers. I did a selective startup to resolve a World of Warcraft issue (Which didn't fix anything, i had to reset all my network configurations to fix the issue) Anywayyys, after re turning on everything, and i mean everything (Services and startup programs) My realtek audio manager is no longer displayed on my taskbar, and its only showing my USB device as a detected audio output device. I normally use my 1/8 inch input and my digital 5.1 headset input for my trittons, and all was going well until the selective startup. I returned everything back to the way it was and still nothing. Any ideas on how to fix this? ive also tried running the sound.bat file posted on some other forums, which fixed a similar issue before. If anyone could help id gladly appreciate it.

Did you use the RealTek drivers from the motherboard vendor? If not, give them a try as usually the motherboard (or PC) vendor's drivers work best (and in some cases the only ones that will work).

You could also try a System Restore using a restore date that is before your problem and whatever you changed, as that MAY fix your problem.

If neither of the above work, just try uninstalling/reinstalling the RealTek in the Device Manager. In the Device Manager, RIGHT click on the entry for the RealTek and then LEFT click "Uninstall". DO NOT check the box to also uninstall the drivers. Restart the PC and when Windows starts it will detect and reinstall the RealTek. If there were a Windows sound corruption this usually fixes it.

I cant access my device manager due to some weird error where my windows executables are 32 bit when they should be 64 bit and it wont run properly. Doing a system restore would just ruin the purpose of me fixing my original issue. If you could help with the 32 bit 64 bit mashup problem im having i guess i could try your last method and see if that works. It has something to do with MMC or something along those lines. Wont let me access services, device manager, and a few other things i cant think of off the top of my head. And yes ive tried the restore default windows files method, it doesnt fix it.

With the other Windows issues, you need to first get all those straightened out then work on the sound problem.

It may even require a complete reinstall (I just did a complete reinstall, but because I went back to conventional hard drive from an SSD). It wasn't as much a hassle as I thought it was going to be.
