I've looked at a few threads on this forum to see if it can help but none do.
My recovery options are built in. And when I go to select some of the options they either freeze or say theyre doing stuff for over 6 - 7 hours. The only options I can select are Notepad and Command Prompt.
The weird thing on notepad is if I go to select my main drive it crashes the recovery, same for command prompt if I type chkdsk d: it wont do anything.
I've tried full destructive recovery, tried all sorts of commands but still nothing. Also its done it about 3 - 4 times in the past where full destructive recovery was the only option that worked so I've lost everything 3 - 4 times which is annoying but annoyingly it isn't working this time. I don't mind if i lose everything yet again but I find it annoying that I cant store important files because I know 2 months down the line the same error will appear.
Specs (roughly):
AMD Dual Core (forgot the name something like phenom)
ATI 5750
4GB RAM
750GB HDD
Thats all I know from the top of my head.
If you need some more information etc. Just ask hopefully you can fix this annoying recurring error.
