I had this PC dualbooted with Windows XP and Windows 7 before due to some software having incompatibility issue with Windows 7 so I had to partition the HDD into two volumes. Now that I've removed Windows XP and is currently using Windows 7 alone, how do I unpartition the one used by Windows XP back to the other to form a single volume? 20 Gb of HDD space was allotted to Windows XP and is still not usable.
In windows 7 rightclick computer and press 'manage', there go to 'disk management'. Rightclick the unwanted partition and press 'delete partition'. If you now rightclick your other partition, there should be an option to expand it using your free space...
Good luck

After deleting the 2nd partition, there was left an unallocated space which was where the 2nd OS was placed. I got it integrated back to the first partition by right-clicking on the first partition and expanding it thus getting the unallocated space. Everything's fine now. Thanks. ^________^
