I have installed my Logitech AF camera/mic onto windows 7. Shortly after I received my BSOD. Thinking it was old drivers I tried going into safe mode. It didn't work. Normal boot didn't work and its not even reading my disc or usb backup so I can reformat.

What should I do I can't even get in and repair options aren't working.

It loads everything up til classpnp.sys afterwards it either freezes or flashes a quick BSOD and restarts. The farthest I ever got was it loading up for 3 seconds and with that 3 seconds I pull this info

So what happens when you remove all the hardware and nothing nothing works still? The only thing I could think of it being is the old drivers from the camera or daemon tools because I read that on some other forum.

For Windows 7 and Vista full version installation media, after the "Press any key ... " black screen do steps #1 & #2 then skip down to step #5 below to continue.

But It won't read my disc all I get when I try that is a blinking _ and then it restarts.

Remove all ram over 2 gigs, unplug all external devices.

If it still does not load from the disc, either the disc has a problem, or you have a hardware issue.

I have 2 512mb ram sticks but I removed them each separately when I was following the hardware advice from the stopx124 thread.

I've tried loading windows 7 from a disc and from a usb and no success. I'll try my friends disc on Thursday if I can get over there. Is there any way to disable sptd.sys or uninstall hardware another way?

Daemon Tools is a known cause of BSOD with Windows 7. They use a file sptd.sys which is notorious of causing BSOD w/ Win 7. Remove DT and use this SPTD uninstaller to remove sptd.sys: DuplexSecure - Downloads
Select Uninstall; do not select reinstall

Use MagicDisc or PowerIso.

So should I put this on a USB and boot from it? I can't run the program from my desktop..

You may need to run it as an admin. Right click on the SPTD remover and click run as admin.

Is there anyway to wipe a harddrive outside the PC? I've heard using a magnet, any validity on that?

you can buy a usb drive mate. it allows you to hook up internal hard drives to an adapter which then plugs into a computers USB and it is mounted as a removable hard drive. you can then format it from there.

Do you have a Windows 7 Installation Disc? If you do, boot from the CD and you can format the HDD in the setup wizard.
