Update 8/1/12 I just got my Dell Desktop Running!

For my second post I'm talking about my new dell desktop. Well, new to me, anyways. I just got my 2 gigs of RAM. Wish I couldda got 4, but I don't have a job yet and I'd feel bad about asking my parent's for $40 of RAM. Anyways, I don't have a SATA drive at the moment, but I couldn't wait any longer so I dug out the old 80 gig IDE from my old Dimension. All I can say is, even on an IDE drive, this computer blazes compared to my Toshiba satellite. I never thought that a dual core processer with slightly faster clocking could make this much of a difference. Anyways, just some fun to talk about.

Cool,nice to hear your happy with it.Faster cpus and with more cores do make a difference.Believe me it does I felt it from when I went from a single core cpu pc to a 4 core cpu,more ram makes a difference too,my old pc had 512MB of ram and my new one is pretty quick with 4gbs of ram.
