Hi there, Need some help getting some updates that won't update. This is for installing IE10 (which is funny because I'm already running IE 10) and then installing IE 11.

Downloaded the System Update Readiness Tool and installed it

Completed a SFC scan (no problems detected)

Ran the windows update repair tool

Nothing made a difference.

Here's a link to the CBS.zip https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B278AWu6-naXNG00blNhMExsSHc/view?usp=sharing

Thanks,

Shawn

The SFC scan is clear, at least - so this may not be too difficult to fix.

I'll post a fix protocol later.

Thanks for the help. I was surprised too about the amount of corrupted files. I had read several other posts on here that had nowhere near this many. Hopefully this will be easy.

I've uploaded a file - mkyab.zip - to my OneDrive at Noel's OneDrive

Please download and save it.

Right-click on the downloaded file, and select Extract all…

Extract to the default location - which will create a new folder mkyab in the same place.

Open this folder - there should be one folder inside it (Packages)

Copy the content of the Packages folder to the folder

C:\Windows\Temp\CheckSur\Servicing\Packages

Now run the CheckSUR tool again (it may take a while)

Post the new CheckSUR.log file, and the CheckSUR.persist.log file.
