How to remove failing Updates ?
Friday 7/26/13 I got downloaded 2 Windows Updates repeatedly failing to be installed:
- 2007 Microsoft Office Suite Service Pack 3 (SP3)
Error Code 80246007
and
- Security Update for Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007 (KB2596764)
Error Code 57E
Since then repeated (unsuccessful) installation-attempts are causing undue delays at every System Start and Shutdown but there seems to be no easy way to get those burdensome pieces of update-code either installed or (if not installable at all) removed/deactivated.
Could anybody be helpful to solve this problem ?
