There are two PCs, they are named P1 and P2, both have Windows 7 and are connected with a router.
The network is OK - I can see the shared files from both PCs.
The folder My Documents on each computer is shared. From time to time, I need to transfer files from
My Documents on P1 to P2 or vice-versa.

What is the best way to do this ? Does Windows 7 have the necessary program or do I need a third
party app - if so, which one do you recommend ?

Thanks for your help.

Click on Computer then expand Network, navigate to the network folder you want then select the files you want, right click and select Copy.

Now navigate to the local folder you want then right click on it and select Paste.

That will copy the files from one to the other. If they already exists in the local location then you will have to tell it to replace or over write them.

Click on Computer ? Do you mean in Windows Explorer ?
If so, I do not have a menu position "Network"
