This update installs successfully, but the update keeps advices to update again. So far it has installed 5 times. What is going on? Should I uninstall all but one and hide further updates for this? Thanks

Do you have all the previous service packs installed? If not install service pack 3 first... it enabled Win7 compatibility.

I have the same problem...

I see that it remains in my updates to be installed and continues to install. I've just hidden it to see what happens next. In Programs and Features, I do not have the SP installed, nor do I have the Express Edition of SQL Server 2005 installed, just the full version. That might be why it succeeds, doesn't show up, and thinks it still needs to install. Perhaps the full version looks like the Express Edition to Update, but in reality, it's barking up the wrong tree and will never actually succeed?
