Solved update installing do not unplug or restart machine

I restarted my computer at 11:00 p.m. and it messaged me " Please do not power off or unplug your machine... Installing updates 1 of 1. Well over 8 hours and its still has the same message. What should I do? and all that anxiety... HELP

I read that waiting 3 hours is enough time if this were ever to happen. Then deploy CTRL-ALT-DELETE.

Just restart.

Windows 7 is quite good at recovering after situations like this. If you need help after that, you always have the friendly peops here to help

Thanks I did restart and it is running good now ... Thanks for your advise. I now know where I can come for HELP!!
