Update .Net Framework from 3.5 to 4.8?

Just found this out: Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8 for Windows 7 - Win Toolkit Addons - WinCert.net Forums and it made me wonder if there is a reason for me to update.

To begin with it wont update 3.5 to 4.8, it will add the new version. If you think you might need it then install it, I have it and you may already have it installed. Check to see. Mine was installed with windows update.
