Dear All,
Am using W7 home premium. I left my laptop for a couple of hrs, came back, it tells "windows update 100% complete dont shut down", it stayed for another 4 hrs like this.
I turned it off, turnit on back again, log into windows, but the mouse cursor is still as if something is running, i.e: icant click on any thing , and its like this since 2 hrs.

Any ideas whats the problem guys? Worth to mention i turned off my wireless just to be disconnected through internet? but still same.
I run in safe mode, try to turn off the automatic update, but System Update wont open, i just click on but nothing happens.
I turned it off and on again about 4 times , same problem, TILTTTTTT, cant do anything.

Need help :(
Regards,

Could you try uninstalling the specific update in add/remove programs perhaps?

^and if that does not work, could u try fetching the update again through windows update (action center).

^also, would a system restore to a previous good working state help?

Windows XP - Now Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit).
Try Windows Update Troubleshooter by typing troubleshooter in the Start menu search box. Under System and Security, click Fix problems with Windows Update. You may be prompted for an administrator password, so have that information ready.

If that doesn't work for you, check out How to get support for Windows Update problems.

Hope this helps!
