Not sure if this has been discussed here before but I wish or wonder if there is a way to reject an update and permanently remove it from the suggested updates. Today I had a couple updates that should not have been required for my system. One was a security update related to servers which I will never use and another was for bitlocker but I am using Home premium so I don't have bitlocker. Unless I am missing something I can either do the 8 megabytes of updates or continuously look at them in the update manager.

Is there another way to handle this or should Microsoft give an option to reject these updates and remove them from the suggested updates manager?

You should be able to right-click on the update and select Hide.

I don't have any updates to test with, unfortunately.
