Am getting a few update issues of late...
Problem rectifies itself eventually [as we can see]
Am searching for reason as to why??
NB, [A possible cause??] When away from my pc for a while it seems to go into a sleep like state [assume this is normal]
When I re-awaken pc the internet is not connected... it then takes 5 - 10 seconds to connect and all is fine. This has happened since changing providers.
Is it a new modem safe guard... or could it be the new AV doing this i.e. another safe guard??
Once I'm on my pc I dont have any connection issues. Me thinks this sleep state maybe the issue re, updates... How to be sure??
Please advise....

It is probably fixed with the reset
But
My instructions were for the future. Do it manually.

mmm... updater hasnt updated since 24/11/10?? <= Just 1 update...
That was after applying 'Updater Reset' Nothing for two weeks (give or take a day)
Is this normal i.e. rate & regularity of updates for Win 7??
xp was always updating & my Win 7 was updating more regularly than this prior to
my discovery of this issue & applying fix
Please advise
NB, Have tried multiple times 'check for updates' and it just tells me every thing is up to date
