Hi there!

Very sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this, but i'm hoping somebody can help with a problem i seem to be having while trying to update/upgrade my graphics driver.

I recently downloaded the game Smite, and during installation it recommended that i downloaded and installed "Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator Driver" because my graphics are a bit naff. I downloaded and got half way through the setup when the window just disappears. I'm not sure what else i can do (other than buying a new PC) to help my FPS issues, so i assume this is the fix for now, but i just can't seem to get the setup complete.

I'm downloading directly from Intel's site, and following the instructions, but like i said, the window just disappears.

If anybody is able to offer a suggestion to get around this, i'd very much appreciate it.

Thank you!

Hi Zhu Xiong and welcome to Seven Forums.

If you have no Anti-Virus there could be multiple problems with your pc. I would suggest you download and install MSE anti-virus.
Download

I would run the scan in safe mode with networking http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/666-advanced-boot-options.html

I would also recommend installing malwarebytes and running that through safe mode also.

Then getting Adwcleaner and running it and post a screen shot here

Hey! Thanks for the replies!

Sorry, i actually have McAfee installed and i run Malwarebytes and Combofix every so often to clear my laptop of anything unwanted.

After i posted this i tried a few other graphics accelerators from the same site, a coupledo the same thing and the others tell me my computer isn't up to date enough for these 'add-ons'.
