Hello everybody!
I tried installing the upgrade build 7057 over 7000 (x86) and it seemed to work fine. But then Windows 7 boots into the message "preparing your desktop for first use". It follows the message "Setup will continue after restarting your computer" and after ca. 1 Minute it restarts and does exactly the same. I tried that for about 5 times and it keeps doing that. No error messages.

Did anybody have this problem as well? Any ideas for troubleshooting?

Thank you guys!

Addition: I have just seen that people have problems with Norton 360, which I have installed, too. Maybe I can boot into safemode and remove Norton - I will try this tonight and report.

O.K., I tried the safe mode, but this gives me a message saying that I cannot use safe mode while in setup. And then I see the "Setup will continue after restarting your computer"screen again.

OK, I had tried to install daemon tools, but it failed. I do also have isobuster installed. However, can I rollback the upgrade now?

I Think its too late in the process just do a clean install, its like like everything is on it.

Sounds like your best option is to format the drive from XP or Vista (assuming you have this installed on a seperate partition) then do a clean 7057 install.

Thanks! I have deleted it and installed the 7057 from the scratch - this time the 64 bit edition!
