upgrade help

Wanted to upgrade my windows7 experience,have 4GB memory installed,have 250GB Free space on harddisk,weak spot is my graphic-card i guess(intel(r)G41Express-Chipset.Could some one advice me a better card?

Hi and welcome to seven forums,

The hp500b is in a MATX case, so you will need to check the clearance space inside the case to see how big a card will fit in.

The next issue you need to think about before upgrading the graphics is the PSU. I have no idea what's in it at the moment but I would imagine it will be pretty low power and not up to the job.

Then you need to think about budget.

And then we might be able to recommend some cards and a psu.

You can opt for NVidia 9500GT 1GB card, ATI Radeon 1 GB card, Vision Tek Radeon 1 GB, XFX series card would also serve the purpose.
